Weekend

She says:
This weekend Jason and I got to get away to beautiful Kirksville, Missouri. Ha!  But seriously, we went to visit the family, as Noah was turning OLD (15)!
It was a good break, just hanging out and reading (Anteater Boy by Dean Ammerman) and watching TV and taking naps...all the good stuff!  Plus my mom made all of the most delicious foods my mind can imagine!  After an awesome lunch on Sunday (and a nap), we headed out to RipStik.  Luckily, RipStik-ing is "like riding a bike"--nothing like actually riding a bike, except that it has wheels, but easy to pick up the skills again.

Here we are (in a different format for pictures than in previous posts, because it was much too difficult to align pictures and add captions the other way):

Noah and I showing off our superior skills of riding at the same time and not running into each other.

Jason was the most improved from when we learned how to RipStik at Christmas.  Here he is (off the driveway!) headed downhill.

Since I was riding Micah's RipStik, she grabbed a scooter and followed along (in her awesome sock monkey hat)!

Noah (OLD!) but still able to blow out all of his candles at once.

These are the shoes we painted Noah for his birthday.  They're supposed to look like a cross country race around the perimeter of his shoes.
